Warranty complete process / warranty period / how to return and exchange goods

Thank you for purchasing FESTAR product, we guarantee your rights as follows:

FESTAR products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. If the product is defects within one year from the date of purchase, FESTAR offers a repair service.

However, the following conditions are not covered by the product warranty, and the customer shall bear the cost of repair.

1. Any damage caused by natural disasters, irresistible external forces, abnormal operation or human error (e.g. machine damaged by liquid, damaged casing, etc.).

2. Damaged by pet bites and scratches, pet litter or external forces.

3. Any unauthorized dismantling by the user.

4. Any error or improper installation, maintenance, service, repair, alteration or tampering, the usage which isn’t included in the user manual, unofficial written document, maintenance which is not according to the standard procedure, are not eligible for product warranty.

5. Machine failure or any internal parts damage caused by using disinfectant from other brands or adding any other liquid, solution, perfume, alcohol or any fragrance product is not covered by the warranty.

6. Product damages resulted by natural disasters, misuse, abuse, carelessness, accident, natural wearout with standard use and adverse weather conditions (including but not limited to electric shock, flood as well as exposed under high temperature) are not covered by the warranty.

7. Alter, deface or remove product model and serial number.

8. Damage or scratch on the product surface.

9. This warranty only covers the hardware in the original packaging, not including other accessories (such as chargers, measuring cups, promotional gifts, etc.).

10. The user or unauthorized third party that perform repair or alteration to the hardware.

11. When the product is sold in the future, the seller or the asset clean-up person explicitly waives the right to product warranty.

Local laws and warranty

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state, province to province, or country to country.

Note: The company is still responsible for maintenance after the warranty expires, however, the material cost will be charged. Maintenance fee and shipping costs are to be charged as well.


Replacement process for failed products

1. Within 7 days of purchase:

Non men-made hardware failure that happens within 7 days of purchase. Please keep all original packaging, accessories, gift and the original receipt. Apply through the original agent or dealer. Once the malfunction is confirmed by a licensed engineer of our company as a hardware failure, a refurbished replacement machine can be exchanged through the original agent or dealer.

2. Within the warranty period: (one year from the date of purchase)

The service is free of charge during the warranty period, but does not include accessories (such as chargers) and damages caused by natural disasters (such as soaked). The shipping fee happens when delivering product back to the company shall be covered by the customer. The shipping cost to return the product back to the customer after repair will be covered by the company.

3. After the warranty expires:

The company will charge a single item inspection and processing fee, maintenance fee, parts, etc. Customer shall cover the shipping fee that happens when sending product to the company for testing. The company will first provide customer with the estimate fee for repair, and the customer will decide whether or not to pay for the repair service. If the customer requires repair service, please send the repair fee to the designated account of the company first, and the shipping cost for sending the product back after repair will be paid by the company. If the customer decides no repair service is needed, please retrieve the item back, or if the shipping service is needed, the shipping fee will be covered by the customer. After the product is repaired, the company will send the remittance advice by email, and the customer shall remit the payment within 7 days from the date of notification. The company is not responsible for safekeeping of the item when the payment is overdue.
